A Personal Welcome
If you’ve found your way here, I want to start by saying this: you are not alone. I know those words can feel far away when grief presses in, but they are true. This space, Our Healing Home, was created with you in mind — the mother carrying grief, the mother longing for hope, the mother trying to find her way back to herself.
My own journey has been shaped by loss and love, grief and gratitude. I carry the memory of my son, Leland, and the joy of my son, Lochlan. Walking through both child loss and motherhood after loss has taught me that healing after loss isn’t about “moving on.” It’s about finding a new way of being, a home within yourself that holds both your love and your pain.
Grief Support for Mothers
Grief is not linear. Some days may feel light enough to breathe again, while others weigh heavy with reminders of what could have been. Through it all, please know this: your grief makes sense.
This site will be a place for gentle grief support, where your experience is honored. Whether you’ve endured miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, your love for your child is real, and so is your pain. Here, I’ll share reflections, journal prompts, and rituals that have brought me comfort, in the hope that they may offer you even a small sense of peace.

Healing is not about erasing what happened. It’s about carrying it differently. For me, that has meant lighting candles on anniversaries, planting flowers in honor of my child, and allowing myself to feel joy without guilt.
You may find that emotional healing comes in the smallest of moments: a walk outside, a deep breath, a kind word from someone who truly understands. My hope is that this space will help you notice those moments and gather them like pieces of light on the darkest days.
